What Is Sky Digital
Sky television is a digital service that is brought to your TV using a satellite dish and digital box. Digital television has superior picture and sound quality, unlike the analogue signals that you receive through a standard television aerial. Sky provides hundreds of channels including Sky One, Sky Movies, Sky Sports, MTV and The Discovery Channel. There are also interactive services available, including television guides, games and shopping. Also available, are television services like Sky HD, which features breath-taking quality visuals, and surround sound, and Sky+ that allows you to pause and rewind live TV. Sky television is the only place where you can watch new episodes of 24, Lost, Battlestar Galactica and Prison Break. You can also subscribe to the Sky Sports channels or Setanta Sports to see live premiership matches and other exclusive sporting events including live test cricket, rugby and golf. |
